The Department of Information Science (Postgraduate) of Maulana Abul Kalam Azad University of Technology is running three PG courses (MSc. in Artificial Intelligence, MSc. in Data Science, MSc. in Cyber Security). Through tough competition and ongoing guidance, the department hopes to instill in its students a spirit of innovation, technological expertise, and technical competence. Additionally, the department arranges programmes for the teaching and research communities and attends to the needs of users in the area. The department offers conferences, workshops, technical seminars, faculty development programmes (FDP), short-term training programmes (STTP), and faculty development programmes in addition to the regular curriculum to expose students to issues that are encountered in the workplace and in society. The Department offers its students the exceptional chance to work in a variety of cutting-edge development environments.
The Department of Information Science - Postgraduate will expand its leadership role in preparing data and information professionals to meet the needs of the global information society. The graduates will serve as intermediaries between information and information users, as well as play crucial roles in a wide variety of settings with increasingly sophisticated technological tools.
